died through massive pulmonary in the lungs
we found out we were expecting you in 1999 which was a shock since i was on contraception. your daddy always said he wanted a football team so he was overjoyed at our news. my pregnancy was absolutely fantastic, i flew through it. it was a joy to be pregnant. on mothers day on april the 4th 2000 i had a few contractions and within a few minutes you were being born. we had no time to wait for an ambulance so your daddy delivered you there in the front room. you couldnt wait to come out and meet your brothers and sister. the ambulance arrived and you were taken to prince charles hospital in merthyr where they checked you over and everything was fabulous, you were discharged to come home after 6hours but i had to stay in for 3days because i haemhoraged. everything was great, your brothers and sister were there everytime you made a noise, they wouldnt leave you alone. on the 12th of july 2000 i went to bed for the first time since having you because your daddy had been decorating and we were worried about the smell of the paint with you. i gave you your last bottle and you started coughing, i was worried you were coming down with something but you settled and went to sleep. i woke at 6am turned over to you and saw that you had kicked the blanket off, as i was putting your blanket over you i realised you were really cold and had stopped breathing. i shouted on your daddy to get up, he got up grabbed you and ran downstairs. i was on the phone to the ambulance then me and daddy tried to do c p r on you. it seemed like eternity before the ambulance arrived but it was only a matter of minutes. the ambulance men then took over from me and daddy. i came with you in the ambulance, holding your hand and talking to you all the way to the hospital. when we got there you were taken straight to the resuccitation room where they tried to warm you up,they were putting big syringes in your body i couldnt stay in there as i found it so hard to watch and i couldnt do anything to help you. i waited anxiously in the relatives room for news of how you were doing. a doctor came in to see me and told me that you had died. i lost the plot, couldnt believe id lost another one of my babies. a nurse then came to see me and asked me if i wanted to see you, she brought you down to me in the relatives room wrapped up in a blanket. you looked so sweet, just like you were sleeping. i kissed you and cuddled you then they wanted to take you down to the chapel of rest. i couldnt let them take you so me and your auntie took you down to the chapel. the nurse cut your hair for me and the hardest thing was to walk away and let you go, i just needed to hold you in my arms. another of my babies taken away too soon to live in gods garden. we had you christened in the chapel of rest because you were supposed to be christened with your older brothers and sister which now couldnt be done. goodnight sweetdreams love always mammy, daddy, andrew, adam and nicola
